New Fennec (Mobile Firefox) Milestone
Okay, this is just cool. I can’t wait until Fennec is finished!
Fennec (Mobile Firefox) has reached milestone 6 (M6) last week and can be installed to a Nokia N8×0 for testing. Remember, we haven’t reach alpha yet, but we are getting close. M6 adds “tabs” to the browser UI, adds tel: and mailto: support and makes some much needed stability improvements.
Firefox 3.0.1 Ready for Wednesday
According to the meeting notes for this week, the first security update for Firefox 3 will be out on the 16th. There’s about 30 bugs that will be fixed in the 3.0.1 release and this will most likely clean up any security issues that were made aware to Mozilla after the initial release of FF3.
TrueCrypt and Notepad++
Lifehacker mentions a new version of TrueCrypt with new features for Mac and Linux. Also Notepad++ releases a new version as well.

Mix-n-match Firefox 3 Themes
You can now have any Firefox 3 native theme on any OS (except Linux). Here are your options:

The Mac & Linux themes are experimental and the other two themes are still in development, but I have tested them out and they rock. It’s especially nice to have the Vista theme on XP.

Firefox 3.1 By End of Year
MozillaLinks has a great post on the features planned for Firefox 3.1 later this year. Firefox 3.1 will be a minor update to the Firefox 3.0 browser and will include features that were originally slated for 3.0 but didn’t make it. Firefox 3.1 will also include everything you expect from an update.
