It’s actually incredibly easy to sync Google Calendar with iCal in Snow Leopard. Here’s the rundown:
- Open iCal and select Preferences
- Go to the accounts tab and click the plus sign to add a new account
- Change the account type to “Google”
- Enter your Gmail email address
- Enter your Gmail password
- Click on “Create” and iCal will begin downloading your info from GCal
- You can also click on Delegates in order to add other calendars you might have in your Google account
iCal began syncing with Google Calendar right away using this method and everything went very smoothly.
