Microsoft typically begins work on their next operating systems as soon as they release their most current version.  They started working on Vista as soon as they shipped XP and they’re doing the same right now.  For a while now, they’ve been calling the next major update to Windows “Vienna”.  However now they word on the street (blogs) is that you’ve gotta’ update your lingo and call it “Windows 7″.
